Well time is flying, I only have 12.5 days of work left, Paul only has 10. We are planning on offing it again on Kabuki at the beginning of February. Paul has been on holidays over the Christmas New Year period, so He has been working hard on the boat getting the last things organised and the last bits fixed.
Summer so far hasn't been so great, so we have not felt like we are missing the good weather, but hopefully from now on things will improve. Kabuki is looking tidier after Paul's TLC, all we need to do now is stock up with supplies, and move back on board.

Sunrise on a new day and a new year.............Lovely
Paul and I celebrated New Years on new years morning this year, We got up before dawn, got on the motorbike, and headed out to Tutukaka, to watch the sunrise over the sea, on the first day of the new year. It was a beautiful morning, a bit cool, but coffee from the thermos warmed us up. We hiked from Dolphin Place up to the Trig Station at William Wellington Reserve. The view was spectacular we could see the Poor Knights Islands, Great Barrier, The Mokohinaus, Hen and Chicks Islands...... Beautiful. It is at times like these that you realize what a wonderful place we live in here in Whangarei, we have bush, mountains, beaches and Islands within a short distance of each other.
I hope you all celebrated the new year to your hearts content, We both wish you all the best for this year to come.
Regard Wendy and Paul
