Jobless at last!!!!!!

Paul and I both finished work last Friday (18th January). We are now officially unemployed bums again, not quite Westsailing Bums, but in 2 weeks we will be off sailing again.
On Saturday we jumped on our motorbike and rode down to Tauranga to see Paul's sisters, then on to Whakatane on Sunday to see Grandsons Jaxon, Korban and the new one Rexon. We had a nice visit with the family and motored back to Whangarei on Monday.

On Friday we are off to Melbourne for my Nephew's wedding, Paul and I have not been out of New Zealand for about 20 yrs, so it is a wee adventure for us. Just booking the plane tickets, motels, rental cars online was a new deal for us.
When we get back it is into boat prep mode, with stores to buy and the move back on board. We are both really looking forward to getting away from the hustle and bustle, and up to the Bay of Islands.
We don't know what is in store for us over the next few months, in fact it can sometimes be a bit scary chucking in your jobs and skiving off. Life is to live, life is to enjoy while you can.
