Paul and I have settled into life at home in the house, and working. It is the same old, same old thing each day, with interspersed weekends of running around getting things done before Monday rolls around again. We have both been sick, Paul more so than me for a change, that is what happens when you come back into the work force.
We had one major upset on the 9th of August, Kabuki was broken into and some of our stuff was stolen, we were not the only boat to get burgled, they invaded four others. We are moored on pile moorings in the river, the perpetrators come out in a dinghy and went shopping??? We are now trying to get quotes for the stuff that was stolen, which is not being made easier by the fact that some of it comes from America (can not be obtained in NZ). Luckily we are insured, but that does not help with our peace of mind, and the fact that our home (albeit our part-time home) was invaded by some scurrilous scum bag's. NOTE: I have restrained myself from using foul language as this is a public forum, but I can imagine you will have some idea how I feel.
