Painting the Decks.

After a period of a few months we managed to get the the decks painted with new non-skid. Paul and I completed the side decks without too many worries. The only hiccup we have had is the rust stains that now grace the new paint, courtesy of the boat yard drop cloths that have been draped around Kabuki for the Osmosis job.
Paul masking up for the non-skid, honest I did some too.
The new paint at the bottom, the old non-skid to the top of the photo. The colour is slightly different, and surprisingly cooler under foot.
Paul texturing with the roller after I had applied the coat of paint. It dried faster as the day progressed, next time we would do it on a cooler day.

We are very pleased with the result, though there has been some blistering of the paint. We think this is because we applied too much to start with, and might have rolled it to many times putting air bubbles in it.
